A multiple-road disaster in Ogun State on Monday morning claimed the lives of 43 people and nine automobiles.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the accident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan highway’s Magboro axis.
Following brake failure, a truck was claimed to have crashed into other vehicles on the road.
Florence Okpe, an FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, verified to DAILY POST that the accident involved nine vehicles.
According to our correspondent, the majority of the automobiles were severely damaged as a result of the incident.
Okpe stated that four people were hurt in the accident, which produced a traffic jam on the axis. She did, however, promise that “no life was lost as a result of the incident.”
