The President of Saudi club Al-Nassr, Muhammad Al Muammar, has revealed details of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with the club.
Ronaldo became the highest-paid athlete in history when he left Manchester United for the Asian club in the winter transfer window, earning £173 million a year.
According to 9NFCBall, Al-Muammar was questioned about the club’s signing with the Portuguese during a press conference on Monday, and the club’s head opened up about the deal inked with the former Real Madrid star.
“We signed a contract with Cristiano Ronaldo not only as a player, but also got his own commercial rights, which will be activated after the end of the current season and will have an impact on the tourism side and others.
“Because of time pressure and the sports program, we were unable to show Al-Nassr’s contract with Cristiano Ronaldo.”
