Paul Scholes, a Manchester United star, has chosen Jadon Sancho to replace the injured Antony in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

The former midfielder believes the England winger is having his greatest season yet.

Manchester United defeated struggling Chelsea 4-1 in the Premier League on Thursday night, confirming their place in next season’s Champions League.

United also moved up to third place in the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s final round of games.

Antony, a Brazilian international, was stretchered off with what appeared to be a foot injury after 29 minutes.

In his post-match press conference, United manager Erik Ten Hag described the player’s condition as “serious injury.”

Marcus Rashford took over on the left wing in lieu of Sancho, who moved to the right wing.

Sancho put in an excellent display as United produced chances at will in the second half, even assisting Anthony Martial’s strike at the break.

“He [Ten Hag] got some good players to come in. Rashford came off the bench tonight, I think Sancho is looking as good as he has looked all season,” Scholes told Premier League Productions.

“I’m a little bit sorry the season has got to end for him, he’s looking fit, he’s looking trim, he’s looking quick and he’s looking confident as well. So I think he could come into that final.”
