Former Roma midfielder David Pizarro has cautioned boss Jose Mourinho not to leave the club before the start of the new season.
Mourinho assured the Roma squad that he will aim to win the Scudetto in his third year, according to Pizarro.
Mourinho is coveted by Paris Saint-Germain, where he would work alongside former Real Madrid assistant Luis Campos.
Pizarro, on the other hand, told Il Corriere dello Sport:
“I hope not.
“Jose [Mourinho] promised the squad [Roma players] that in the third year, he would try to win the Scudetto.
“An account that he wants to follow up on his words even if it’s clear that his team needs at least three champions to achieve this objective.”
