Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have made some new revelations.
They stated that they want to call no more than 100 witnesses to testify in their appeal to the Presidential Election appeal Court (PEPC) challenging Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election.
This was revealed by their lawyer, Chris Uche (SAN), at the commencement of proceedings before the PEPC this morning in Abuja.
Uche stated that the expected 100 witnesses will include those already mentioned as well as others who will be subpoenaed.
Abubakar Mahmud SAN, counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stated that his client intends to bring two witnesses.
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, will summon 39 people in addition to those who have been subpoenaed, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) will convene In addition to individuals who have been subpoenaed, the Progressives Congress (APC) intends to call 25 witnesses.
