Jose Mourinho, manager of Roma, has called the decision to remove points from Juventus for the second time this season a “joke.”
The Bianconeri were docked 15 points in January and plummeted to tenth place.
Last month, the decision was reversed, and Juventus advanced to the Champions League.
However, the former Serie A winners have faced additional penalties for financial infractions and unlawful transfer activities.
Mourinho told DAZN after Roma’s 2-2 tie with Salernitana on Monday:
“It’s a joke to know this with two games remaining For us and everyone, even for Juventus. Our approach would have been different if we had known before the games with Monza and Bologna.
“I am sorry for [Massimiliano] Allegri and his players, but at the league level, I have to say that it changes things a little.”
