Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, is on the verge of breaking the Guinness World Record for the ‘longest cooking duration’ by one individual.
The 27-year-old has been at it for 64 hours and counting, with only roughly 23 hours left to beat the Guinness World Record.
1. Hilda Bassey Effiong is her given name. She is a young Nigerian chef from Nsit Ubium LGA in Akwa Ibom State who owns the cuisine company “My Food by Hilda” in Lagos.
2. She will be cooking nonstop for four days.
3. She is not authorized to sit while cooking; she must stand.
4. She is not permitted to consume coffee, stimulants, or any other stimulants.
While cooking, she drank an energy drink to artificially improve her vitality and physical power.

According to some accounts, she receives a 30-minute break every 6 hours, and she spends that time in a nearby medical van, where she can snooze, use the restroom, and also eat. Get a medical assessment or checkup from the on-site medical team.
9. Whatever she cooks is free to the attendees at the venue. She isn’t selling food.
10. She cooks several meals at the same time. She is free to prepare any dinner she desires. There are no limitations on what she can or cannot cook. The World Record label refers to cooking within a time limit rather than what is prepared. She is on track as long as she is cooking.
11. Every meal prepared and plate served is documented. She has already cooked over 115 meals, totaling about 3,000 portions, if not more by the time you read this.

13. The current holder of the title Hilda aims to break is Lata Tandon, an Indian chef who broke a Guinness World Record in 2019 by cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes nonstop.
14. Hilda Baci is hoping to break the record by cooking for 96 hours, spending the extra 9 hours to become the first human on the planet to spend such a period of time cooking a marathon.
