Aaron Ramsdale, the goalkeeper for Arsenal, has signed a new “long-term” contract with the Premier League club.
The Gunners have not disclosed the term of the contract, but manager Mikel Arteta stated that he is “looking forward to many more years of Aaron at the club.”
Ramsdale, 25, has appeared in every one of Arsenal’s 36 league games this season.
“The way Aaron’s developed has been exceptional,” Arteta remarked.
Ramsdale, whose previous contract was set to end in 2025, joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in August 2021 for £24 million plus £6 million in add-ons.
