Erling Haaland of Manchester City has equaled Arsenal star Thierry Henry’s remarkable Premier League record.
According to Squawka, Haaland’s assist in Manchester City’s Premier competition 1-1 draw against Brighton on Wednesday night was his 44th goal involvement in the English top-flight competition, after scoring 36 goals and netting eight assists previously.
The total is sufficient for him to equal Henry’s record, which he set during the 2002/2003 season.
Henry scored 24 goals and dished out 20 assists.
Haaland was also on target for Manchester City in what should have been the game-winning goal against Brighton, but his goal was overturned after a VAR review.
