Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has told Real Madrid that they will see a different Erland Haaland during the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.
Haaland had a difficult night at The Bernabeu, as Antonio Rudiger won their bout.
Against Real Madrid, the Norwegian attacker got only 21 touches.
Haaland, on the other hand, has scored 35 of his 51 goals at the Etihad.
Guardiola is optimistic that with the return leg at home, Haaland can flourish again, and that his teammates will also step up their performances.
“Congratulations, Rudiger.” We must not forget that Erling is 22 years old and this is his first appearance in the Champions League semi-finals.
“If the team can improve in some areas, we’ll be fine.”
