Piers Morgan, a British broadcaster, praised Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo after the striker scored a ‘great’ goal in his team’s 3-2 Saudi Pro League (SPL) win over Al-Shabab on Tuesday night.
At the KSU stadium, Al-Nassr rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Al-Shabab 3-2.
Al-Nassr scored against Al-Shabab through Talisca, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, and Ronaldo.
In response, Ronaldo’s teammate Morgan tweeted, “Brilliant goal by @Cristiano to win a thrilling game after his team Al-Nassr went 0-2 down.” “The GOAT strikes again.”
The victory over Al-Shabab puts Al-Nassr in second place on the SPL standings, three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
On Saturday, they will play Ettifaq in their next SPL match.
