Except for defender Nathan Ake, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has announced that everyone on his team is fit for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.
On Wednesday night, Guardiola’s team will play Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City drew 1-1 with Real Madrid in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu last week.
Ake was removed in the 2-1 win over Leeds on May 6 and missed the game in Madrid.
“Except for Nathan, everyone is fit,” Guardiola declared at his pre-match press conference.
“I know they will be close to us because they know what this team has done over the last few years,” Guardiola continued. “I’m very confident they won’t leave us alone.”In good times, they will be with us, and in bad times, they will put us first.”
“The way to put pressure on our opponents is to play well.” We play 11 versus 11, and our game will determine what you must do to go to the final. But, of course, they are and will be present in the difficult times.”
