Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a former Chelsea player, has criticized Chelsea youngster Lewis Hall for’very awful defending’ in their 4-1 loss to Manchester United.
Manchester United’s third-place finish ensured their position in next season’s Champions League.
Manchester United took the lead early in the first half through Casemiro, and Anthony Martial doubled the lead in first-half injury time.
Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho was picked out unmarked at one stage, with Hall failing to monitor the winger’s run into the area, and Hasselbaink slammed the 18-year-old full-back.
“With this goal, it is a brilliant pass to Sancho, looking one way and giving it the other,” Hasselbaink told Sky Sports.
“It is very bad defending from Hall but take nothing away from Casemiro for giving it to Sancho.”
