Adaobi Ibeakolam, 30, has been charged with breaking into the flat of her next-door neighbor, Tochuckwu Udeagbuna, and groping his private parts in an attempt to seduce him.
The suspect, Adaobi, has been arrested for conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace and assault, according to P.M.EXPRESS.
The event is believed to have occurred on Ajoke Street in the Okota district of Lagos, where they live.
The perpetrator, according to police, entered the complainant’s apartment, tore his shorts, and grabbed his manhood.
While the complainant was arguing with her, the flower vase in the house cracked, prompting him to raise an alarm, which drew the attention of other neighbors.
The incident was reported to the Ago Police Division. Adaobi was apprehended andShe was detained at the station for questioning about her alleged behavior.The police did not reveal the outcome of the investigation, but they did find Adaobi responsible for her confirmed effort to enter the complainant’s flat and hold his private part.
She was later prosecuted before the Isolo Magistrates Court for the claimed infraction under the State’s Criminal Laws.
When she was arraigned, she pled not guilty.
Mr. Oje Uagbale, the Prosecutor, then asked the Court for a brief adjournment of the case because she had pled not guilty, allowing the Police to prove that she had committed the accused offence.
Mrs. O.A. Okokhia, the Presiding Magistrate, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in the same amount.
The case was postponed until May 30, 2023, so that the defendant may be heard was remanded in detention at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos, awaiting the completion of her bail conditions.
