Prophet Austin Ariole, the general overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, GFT, in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, claimed on Sunday that Nigerian leaders were to blame for encouraging young people to engage in prostitution and internet fraud, also known as “Yahoo-Yahoo,” in the nation.
The statement was made on Sunday by the clergyman.
The guys were forced into the streets by this thing named Yahoo-Yahoo.
He claimed that “they forced our daughters into prostitution.”
He added that individuals in positions of authority, especially those in the church, are the ones who criticize the girls for engaging in the filthy business.
He argued that, contrary to popular belief, Nigeria’s problem is with leadership, not with religion. He claimed that although God had gifted Nigeria with both natural and human riches, its leaders had ruined it.
He called it an abnormal situation when a graduate in accounting works as a salesperson for a boutique owner while a graduate in medical ends up working at a chemist.
Prophet Ariole further pointed out that the politicians’ claims of a “Muslim-Muslim” ticket are all untrue.
He said that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, built the state while in office.
He continued by claiming that while serving as governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, allegedly mortgaged state assets for personal gain.
