Prof. Sandy Onor, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Cross River State and a key ally of Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers State, revealed that Wike will soon make amends with the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
On Sunday, Sandy Onor, a senator from Cross River State’s Central Senatorial District, spoke in Ikom, Cross River State.
“Wike’s camp would soon resolve any differences they had with Atiku,” he declared. Even the Atiku camp has stated that they are open to peace. We anticipate a speedy reconciliation.
Every PDP member with a rational mind anticipates that reconciliation.
Onor revealed that they are in charge of the process right now and added that he doesn’t want to be negative about it.
He also took use of the occasion to denounce calls for the abolition of the BVAS, claiming that those who support them are criminals.
“Those lobbying for the repeal of BVAS are criminals, electoral criminals who ought to cover their faces in shame,” declared Onor.
Because INEC insisted on its use, BVAS has become a permanent fixture, and we are pleased with INEC for that.
He claimed that INEC has come under a lot of pressure to drop the BVAS, which they have rejected.
Our confidence will be based on whether or not we are BVAS compliant, according to Onor.
