Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has warned supporters of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) against disparaging Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) verbally.

Fani-Kayode pledged to retaliate to the verbal abuse aimed at Tinubu by Obi and Atiku’s followers “fire-for-fire,” underlining that he would no longer keep his peace.

He denounced Obi’s spokesperson for implying that Tinubu has mental health problems.

He regretted that one of Obi’s spokespersons labeled Tinubu as “Nebuchadnezzar,” “a monkey,” and “satan.

Fani-Kayode also scolded Atiku’s spokeswoman for using derogatory language to describe the APC candidate.

In a Facebook post, Fani-Kayode wrote: “With anger and consternation, I saw one of the leaders of Peter Obi’s PCC insulting and attempting to emulate Asiwaju’s comments on Channels TV the other day and insinuating that he had mental health challenges.

The PDP, their spokesmen, and their leaders are equally as guilty of this endeavor to disparage and say some of the most ridiculous things about our candidate and his health on national television as Obi’s guys were.

Let me serve them notice that starting today, I want to reply to each opposition candidate fire for fire. Up to this point, I have been rather kind and have kept the peace by abstaining from attacking the respective opposition candidates on national television.
