Former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to set up or form the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, as soon as possible.
Uduaghan spoke at the meeting of the PDP Delta South Leadership, which was held at his home in Warri.
He warned that outsiders should not be seen doing jobs that are supposed to be for the people of the area, who mainly are from Delta South Senatorial District.
He said, “We’re not going to let that happen.”
He also said that the Federal Government should do something good to help people deal with the effects of the flood, which destroyed many communities and killed many people across the country.
