David Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi State, said that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, will take care of Igbos if he wins the 2023 elections.

He said this on Wednesday, when he opened the Ebonyi Governor’s Lodge in Abuja. Umahi told Tinubu that in 2023, the South-East would vote for the APC.

He said that the promise was the same as what other South-East governors had said. The governor also told Tinubu that there would be a big campaign rally for the president in the State.

“So, we want to welcome Asiwaju and the governors to Ebonyi State for the biggest rally ever. When you come, Your Excellency, you will see what an engineer can do. We’re not afraid to say that you’re our candidate and that you’ll take care of people in the South-East. Our votes will all go to APC. There’s no doubt about it. “Okay, South-East people, we have heard you. I’m the head of the South-East Governors’ Forum, so when I talk I’m speaking for them,” he said.

The Governor said that the South-East would stay with the APC in 2023 because “it would be better for us.”
