Raheem Sterling, a forward for Chelsea, said that everyone could see that Arsenal have been playing a “beautiful” game so far this season.
Sterling said this as he praised Arsenal’s great start to the 2022-2023 season.
The team led by Mikel Arteta is currently on top of the Premier League table, two points ahead of Manchester City in second place.
Last season, the Gunners finished fifth, and they have also won big games against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Sterling said this to Premier League Productions (through HITC):
“Everyone can see that they are off to a good start this season. They’re playing some lovely music.
“They have been getting better as a team for a few years now. Mikel [Arteta] has made sure that they play football with a lot of freedom.”
When asked about this weekend’s Premier League game between Chelsea and Arsenal, Sterling said:
“That’s what we want to do, keep building, and the game is going to be very interesting.
“They are a team that has the ball most of the time, just like us. I think they’ll get along well.”
