Peter Obi claims, “I Never Borrowed Money To Fund My Projects As Governor.”

According to Labour Party, LP presidential candidate Peter Obi, he never took out a loan while serving as the governor of Anambra State.

This information was revealed on Sunday by the former governor of Anambra State at the Arise TV Town Hall gathering in Abuja, which featured presidential aspirants from several political parties.

“Nowhere has ever invited me or asked me about any lost money.

“The day I left the workplace, I had no outstanding debts with any suppliers or contractors who had completed the project; I also owed no one a pension, gratuity, or pay. I left the state more than $50 million in each of the three banks I used: Access, Diamond, and Fidelity.

I faithfully served them, never took out a loan, and left them money.

said Obi.

He continued by saying that in addition to his outstanding accomplishment, he also received awards from the Bill Gates Foundation and the Federal Government for finest road network and best in education and health.
