Omokri desires the image of Obasanjo on newly redesigned notes

Reno Omokri, a former advisor to the president, has urged the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to print a picture of former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the redesigned Naira notes.

The appeal was made on Saturday by Omokri, who praised the former president of Nigeria for his remarkable performance.

He praised Obasanjo for leading the nation’s debt alleviation effort between 1999 and 2007.

Additionally, the former president recently helped the Ethiopian government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front sign a peace accord (TPLF).

“I urge the Central Bank of Nigeria to take President Obasanjo’s likeness into consideration for the redesigned Naira. The greatest Nigerian, alive or dead, is him. He and Atiku eliminated all of our foreign debt. He firmly rooted democracy. And has now brought Ethiopian peace,” the post stated.
