Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC’s presidential nominee, has arrived in Akure, Ondo State, as part of his campaigning for the 2023 election.
To meet with Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the head of the pan-Yoruba organization Afenifere, in his rural Akure residence, Tinubu landed in the state on Sunday afternoon.
The APC presidential candidate will discuss his Action Plan for repositioning the nation in relation to the political and cultural organization of the Yoruba people.
President Muhammadu Buhari formally unveiled the 80-page Renewed Hope Action Plan document on October 21 in Abuja.
Party supporters and some state residents came out to greet Tinubu as soon as he and his entourage arrived in the Sunshine State.
Chief Bisi Akande, Senator Adeyeye, and Senator Iyiola Omisore were among those accompanying Tinubu to the state.
