Ifeanyi Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) vice presidential candidate, has received the national honorary title of Commander of the Order of Niger (CON).
On Tuesday, Okowa received the national honor from President Muhammadu Buhari.
At the National Honours Award Investiture ceremony held at the International Conference Centre, ICC, in Abuja, Okowa was presented with the honor.
The award of the Commander of the Order of Niger, or CON, was given to the governor of Delta State along with others.
Some former and current leaders in various fields of endeavor were among those honored.
445 Nigerians in all received various national honors.

Ovie Omo-Agege, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila, Justice Kudirat M. Kekere-Ekun, Justice Musa Dattijo Muhammad, and Justice Monica Bolna’an will all (CFR).
