Atiku’s camp to Tinubu: Snakes, monkeys, and termites ate documents and money under Buhari

Bola Tinubu’s campaign for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come under fire from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) camp for his recent remark that the previous government was made up of termites.

According to Atiku’s camp, money and documents were allegedly eaten by termites and snakes while the APC was governed by President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Tinubu.

When the APC Women Campaign Council was introduced in Abuja, Tinubu referred to the PDP as a party rife with dishonest politicians.

PDP was compared by Tinubu to a party of termites.

“Our opponents spent 16 years fighting us, but they forgot that a roadway is an economy and that industrialization requires energy. They are ignorant of the need of maintaining the transmission cables. They were unable to put down a deposit on the trail track. They represent the termite political party.

He had spoken.

Atiku’s media advisor Phrank Shaibu responded by reminding Tinubu of the APC government’s corruption.

As stated by Shaibu:

Have you forgotten, @officialABAT, that under Buhari’s @OfficialAPCNg, monkeys left bananas for #Naira notes, termites left wood for vouchers, and snakes left rodents for #Naira notes? It’s true what they say about amnesia. Nigerians are your worst albatross, stumbling block, and enemy! @daily.”

Under Buhari’s presidency, animals have been accused of disappearing with money or consuming bank records.

Termites are thought to have recently destroyed some Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) records that contained N17.1 billion in expenses.
