Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, said that Nigerians can once again trust the main opposition party.
Before the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in 2015, the PDP had been in charge of the country for 16 years straight. In 2019, the main party that was against the APC also lost.
Atiku said this in Gombe State while giving a speech after opening the PDP campaign office in the state.
Atiku said that the main opposition party may have made some mistakes in the past, but it is ready to fix those mistakes and give Nigerians good government.
People cheered for the former Vice President when he arrived in Gombe State on his private plane at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, where he was met by a crowd of supporters.
