Reekado Banks, a Nigerian artist whose real name is Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, lost his mother.
The singer of “Easy Jeje” shared on Instagram on Tuesday that Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon had passed away.
The post, which was accompanied by a flyer, pleaded with readers to remember Solomon’s family in their prayers during “this trying time.”
The flyer also stated that in addition to her children and grandchildren, Banks’ mother is also survived by her husband.
However, it was not made clear what caused Dorcas to pass away.
“We announce the departure of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidante, and friend with heavy hearts. The leaflet states that Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon is survived by her husband, sisters, children, and grandchildren.
“We beg the general public to remember us in their prayers during this trying time. The Family of Solomon
