SportingLife reports that Alejandro Garnacho and Alvaro Fernandez of Manchester United have received new jersey numbers.
Fernandez, 19, and Garnacho, 17, also academy graduates, started senior training this week.
Last season, the two adolescents made their first-team appearances.
They worked with new manager Erik ten Hag on Monday as he familiarized himself with the Red Devils’ group.
Garnacho switched from wearing the number 75 last season to 49 throughout practice.
Fernandez wore number 42; his previous assignment had been 74.
It is believed that for the 2022–2023 season, these will be the players’ new matchday shirt numbers.
