Tuesday, members of the 26 Task Force Brigade found a woman named Mrs. Mary Ngoshe. The Nigerian Army thinks she is one of the girls who were taken from Government Girls’ Secondary School in Chibok in 2014.
The troops found Ngoshe with a child they thought was hers while they were on patrol around Ngoshe in Borno State.
This is what a verified Twitter account for the Nigerian Army, @HQNigerianArmy, said in a tweet on Wednesday morning.
The tweet says, “On June 14, 2022, while on patrol around Ngoshe, Borno State, troops of the 26 Task Force Brigade met Mrs. Mary Ngoshe and her son. She is thought to be one of the GGSS Chibok girls who were taken in 2014. Exploitation is still going on.”
