PVC: Governor Matawalle gives Zamfara a one-week break from work

The Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has made the week of June 20th to 24th, 2022, a work-free week so that public and civil servants in the state can go to their home towns and get their permanent voter cards (PVC).

The Governor told all the commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, other public office holders, party officials, and traditional rulers to keep an eye on and oversee the ongoing Voter Registration exercise.

This was written in a press release that the State’s commissioner for information, Hon. Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, signed and gave to reporters in Gusau, the state capital.

The statement says that everyone over the age of 18 is expected to take part because it is their constitutional right to choose their leaders.

Governor Matawalle asked everyone to take part in the exercise so that they wouldn’t have anything to say about it later.
