Northern APC governors meet with Tinubu and pledge to work hard to make him Nigeria’s next president

Northern governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) met with Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, on Friday.

The purpose of the meeting was to congratulate Tinubu on his victory in the party’s recent presidential election in Abuja.

Katsina State Governor Bello Masari made the meeting public through a series of tweets.

Masari promised that Northern governors would do all possible to support Tinubu’s election as Nigeria’s next president in 2023.

He expressed himself as follows:

“Myself and several @OfficialAPCNg Governors from the north paid a congratulatory visit to HE @officialABAT, our flag bearer in the 2023 Presidential elections, on his well-deserved victory in the primaries.” As the party’s leader, you’ve paid your dues.

“Now it’s up to us to rally behind you, work tirelessly, and achieve a resounding win in the 2023 elections.” The Speaker of the House @HouseNGR @femigbaja and the former Governor of Borno State @KashimSM were on hand to greet us.”
