In the State’s Giddan Suger district, a deadly accident occurred on Sunday, June 26, which claimed the lives of six bride escorts.
The six bride escorts and other individuals had taken a newlywed to her husband’s home and were on their way back to their homes when the sad incident occurred, according to DSP Lawal Adam, the state police command’s spokesperson, who verified the incident to reporters.
According to him, the driver of the car, which had eight people inside, lost control of the steering wheel, causing the car to somersault multiple times and killing six people.
A 30-year-old guy named Habib Habib of the Yalleman Quarters Kaugama Kaugama local Government was driving a black Lexus car with the registration number AAA 153 EA while hauling eight (chill passengers after they had taken a bride from Hadejia to Yalleman town.
While traveling at a high rate of speed from Hadejia to Gidan Sugar, the driver lost control of the vehicle, it somersaulted, and it slammed into a bush.
The injured were evacuated and taken to General Hospital Hadejia for treatment as soon as police arrived on the scene after learning of the report, the officer said.
According to Adam, three more passengers are receiving treatment, while six people have been certified dead by a doctor. He continued by saying that the bodies of the deceased had been sent to their family members for funeral arrangements.
