Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (retd), a former Aide-de-Camp to General Sani Abacha, has stated that if elected president of Nigeria in 2023, he will relocate to the notorious Sambisa forest.
Al-Mustapha boasted that he will put an end to the country’s long-running Boko Haram conflict in six months.

Al-Mustapha further stated that he will spend one week in the infamous Sambisa forest in Borno state, which is thought to be a stronghold of Boko Haram militants, devising and implementing plans targeted at permanently ending the threat.

This was revealed by the former ADC in an interview with the BBC Hausa service on Friday, which was monitored by DsMedia24.

He expressed his displeasure with the manner Nigerian military are defending the country without ‘patriotism, fervor, devotion, and passion,’ as was the case previously.

His phrases,

“You know how crooked our police are, and Nigerian military have now turned cops.” So, in the next six months, I’ll restore sanity to the Nigerian military’s operations so that it can address growing security threats with renewed zeal and determination.”

Al-Mustapha, who is running for Nigeria’s number one seat in 2023 on the Action Alliance platform, bemoaned the country’s worrisome level of insecurity.

President Muhammadu Buhari, he claimed, is surrounded by sycophants and crooked politicians who have harmed his administration.

“Those who surround him are the country’s problem,”

He said.

He also blamed President Buhari for failing to monitor the activities of those to whom he had delegated power, saying that if he were to become the country’s next president, check and balance, due process, and strict adherence to the rule of law would be the cardinal principles of his administration, without fear or favor.
